CBC Music's Searchlight is a Canada-wide spotlight of emerging music talent of all genres, from musicians of all ages and skill levels. The prize this year for the artist who wins Searchlight, includes an artist residency at the Banff Centre, a performing spot at the CBC Music Festival, and career booster package from Canadian Musician Magazine, and a performance in Ottawa at the National Arts Centre on Canada Day weekend.
